stayed in strokestown last time and loved it, but this time the silver eel blew us away. staff beyond friendly, delicious meals, comfy rooms, stunning lake view, and kids can play safely in a wonderful space. it was truly a memorable experience.

Our room had a cozy seating area and a flat-screen TV, perfect for relaxing after a long day out exploring. Being able to make tea and coffee in the room was a nice touch that made us feel right at home.

The heavy duvet was too warm for our liking, but others may find it comfortable.

Located right beside the Shannon river with a little marina, the B&B boasts an idyllic setting next to the lake. the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is friendly. the pub offers a fantastic atmosphere.

I stayed at the Silver Eel for one night while on a journey from Dublin to Ballina. The location was a convenient stop-off point. The room I had overlooked the beautiful Grange lake and had a large terrace. It was impeccably clean and quiet throughout the night. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food in the bar was excellent. The wifi in the room was reliable, and there was ample parking available. The price for the room was remarkably low considering all the amenities provided.

Can definitely recommend this hotel.
