the hotel had great views over the harbour, with large trawlers and passing cruisers. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food, especially the homemade apple pie, was delicious. We enjoyed the heated swimming pool and spa pool after our day of climbing hills.

Lastly, the location of this hotel was excellent. Situated near the harbour, it served as the perfect base for us to explore the beautiful countryside and coast. We also loved the fact that they offered good bar food and created a nice atmosphere in the evenings.

There were occasions when there wasn't enough food available for a full breakfast, and we had to wait a long time for certain items to be replenished, such as sausages and bacon.
