We had a fantastic time staying at this cozy B&B. The location was very convenient, just a short walk from the town centre. The room was spotless and comfortable, with a lovely ensuite bathroom. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, offering us great tips on local attractions. The breakfast was delicious, with a hearty Irish breakfast to start our day off right. We especially enjoyed the warm greetings and engaging conversations with the owners.

There were no towels provided in the room initially, but the issue was quickly resolved upon request.

I recently stayed at a wonderful bed & breakfast in a charming location. The owners, Des and Oonagh, were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even stored my bicycle inside near the lobby during my stay, which was very convenient. The house itself was beautifully decorated for Christmas, both inside and outside, creating a lovely atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, and although I didn't have breakfast myself, my family members who did said it was delicious. The location was perfect for me, as it was a little off the beaten path, providing a quiet area to relax, yet still within walking distance of the town.

Carragh House in Castlebar was great value for money. The room was clean and quiet, and the location was perfect for a peaceful stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time.

The running/walking route recommended by Oonagh was absolutely stunning and not to be missed. I would definitely choose to stay at Carragh House again in the future.

If I had to point out any drawbacks, it would be the WiFi issue I encountered during my stay. However, I didn't want to inconvenience myself by changing rooms and felt a bit uncomfortable in the hallway with other guests.

Parking can be a bit challenging when the house is full, as guests tend to park wherever they can find a spot. Better management of the parking situation would be beneficial.

The sandwiches provided on arrival were delish and the breakfast was quite good. the location was central, which was convenient for exploring the town and surrounding areas. I liked that we were able to store our bikes securely in the hotel.

The room was subpar and lacked basic necessities. No towels or cups were provided and we had to request them.
