Cartron House Bed & Breakfast provided the best breakfast I have ever had at a B&B. the attention to detail was impressive, with smoked mushrooms, wafer thin rashers, and a delicious cup of coffee. the range of options for vegetarians was also wonderful, including nuts, cereals, dried fruit, fresh fruit. the beautiful old house had an interesting history and there was even a nature walk in the adjacent field. the location was stunning, with lovely views and a peaceful atmosphere. the spacious and clean room added to the overall great experience. Last but not least, Anna, the host, was amazing, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.

The location is beautiful and the scenery is breathtaking. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, providing exceptional hospitality. The breakfast and meals at the hotel are excellent, offering good value for money.

The wifi signal is poor, making it difficult to access emails or the database.

We had a wonderful time at Cartron House. The warm welcome at breakfast made us feel right at home. The food was delicious and plentiful, ensuring a satisfying start to our day. The host, Anne, was one of the best people we've ever encountered, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. The beautiful grounds and well-finished rooms added to the overall charm of the place. We even enjoyed a cozy evening in the common room, with books and games. The location, although a bit far from our daily trips, offered a serene setting with plenty of options for walks and attractions nearby. The traditional Irish pub, Walsh's, recommended by Anne, was a delightful dining experience. Despite the narrow and twisty roads leading to the property, we thoroughly enjoyed the character it added to our trip. I highly recommend Cartron House for a lovely accommodation and great surroundings.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

I had an amazing experience at this hidden gem in the countryside. The value for money was outstanding, and the room exceeded my expectations with its comfort and cleanliness. The location was perfect, with stunning countryside views and a nearby walking trail for my dog. The staff, especially Ann, were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home.

Wow, what a great Thanksgiving experience I had at this B&B! the breakfast was top-notch, with freshly made scones and a variety of options catering to vegetarians. the history of the property is intriguing and I enjoyed the nature walk on the adjacent field. the location was perfect for exploring the nearby town and attractions.

My only complaint was that the walls were quite thin, so noise from other guests could be heard. the wifi signal was weak at times, but it was not much of a concern as we were busy exploring the area most of the time.

Our dog Nala was well-catered for, and the shower pressure was fantastic. The breakfast was delicious, and the bed incredibly comfortable. We also loved the nearby Slieve Aughty center's pizza night on Fridays.
