Our spacious room, the Chinese room, boasted a massive fireplace, and breakfast served on solid silver added to the elegance.

Staying at this hotel was a true delight! the hosts were incredibly welcoming, giving us a warm welcome and sharing with us the fascinating history of the house. They provided us with so much information about the area and helped bring the surroundings to life. the attention to detail in making this 1740 property modern yet filled with its original charm was outstanding. Breakfast was a highlight, with a delightful selection that included special diet menus and delicious treats. the location, nestled in the Boyne Valley surrounded by historical monuments, was impeccable. We truly enjoyed our time exploring the area and relaxing in the beautifully maintained gardens.

While we had a fantastic stay, one thing that could be improved is addressing any drafts in the old house vibes. It didn't detract from our experience, but ensuring all areas are comfortably insulated would elevate the overall experience even more.

nestling in the charming village of collon, house bed & breakfast surpassed my expectations from my previous stay. the standard of restoration, friendly host, and comfortable accommodations were simply outstanding. a true hidden gem that should not be missed.

What a great surprise! We spent Easter weekend in a lovely old house with fantastic antique interiors and a beautiful garden. the breakfast was delicious - try the homemade biscuits! the location is perfect for visiting historic sites and the owners are knowledgeable and eager to give recommendations. We loved that they provided maps and guidebooks for the area.

There is no restaurant on site, so we had to drive a bit for dinner. the noise from the nearby road can be heard in some of the rooms, so make sure to request a quieter one if that bothers you.

From the moment we arrived, this hotel made us feel like true VIPs. the luxurious amenities exceeded our expectations, especially the private facilities that were exclusively for our use. the beautifully maintained garden area provided a relaxing atmosphere, and the leisure room had state, of, the, art technology and comfortable seating. the room was equipped with exclusive advantages that made our stay unforgettable. the service was impeccable, and the staff made sure that all of our needs were met promptly and courteously.

Although it provided a peaceful, secluded environment, it was a bit isolated, with limited activities in the immediate area.
