had an amazing time at the hotel in oughterard. the value for money was exceptional with the great deal that included dinner, wine, a spacious room, and a delicious breakfast. the hotel is perfectly located in the middle of the village with plenty of pubs and eateries nearby. would stay here again in a heartbeat!

connemara lake hotel in oughterard was an absolute delight! the friendly staff, comfortable beds, and delicious breakfast made our stay unforgettable. we were even accommodated for an early breakfast for a marathon. highly recommend this warm and welcoming hotel.

The staff were super friendly and made our stay really enjoyable. the food at the hotel was absolutely delicious, we couldn't get enough of it. the location of the hotel was perfect, right by the lake and surrounded by beautiful scenery.

The carpet on the stairs was a bit worn and could do with an upgrade. the lack of air conditioning made the rooms quite hot and uncomfortable, leading to a bad night's sleep.

During my recent Christmas trip, we enjoyed the spacious and clean rooms, which were warm and comfortable. the location was perfect, being close to the town centre and the lake. We also appreciated the good breakfast served in a quiet area of the hotel.

There were a few aspects that were not ideal. the lack of a lift made it difficult to carry our luggage up many stairs, and there were no chairs provided in our room to rest on besides sitting on the bed.
