We had an excellent stay at Coolanowle Self Catering Holiday Accommodation. The peaceful country setting provided a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for getting away from it all. The warm and comfortable rooms were spacious and equipped with everything we needed for cooking. The hosts, Bernadine and Jimmy, were incredibly friendly and helpful. As older travelers, we appreciated that the accommodation was all on one level. It served as a fantastic base for exploring the attractions of Carlow and Kilkenny, with many of them just a short drive away. The small country roads also made it safe for cycling.

our stay at coolanowle was absolutely perfect - it exceeded our expectations! the quiet location was great for a family, and the separate bedrooms with their own bathrooms provided the perfect balance of togetherness and privacy. bernadine and jimmy made us feel so welcome, and the amenities in the apartment were top-notch. we can't wait to return!

Shower wasn't the best.

This self-catering accommodation offers a peaceful and rural location, surrounded by beautiful greenery and plenty of birdlife. The friendly hosts provide delicious scones upon arrival and the property is well maintained. It is a fantastic base for exploring nearby attractions, with plenty to see and do in the area. The comfortable rooms provide a cozy retreat after a day of exploring, with spacious living areas and well-equipped kitchens for self-catering needs.

One sofa in the living area may be a bit cramped for four adults to relax comfortably.
