The rooms and surroundings were incredibly pretty. The antique decor added a genuine and beautiful touch. The heating was on full blast, which was fantastic considering the chilly weather. We also loved the downstairs area for relaxation, and the family scrapbook was excellent and fascinating, with real items like the original ration book. Tea and coffee were provided, and everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was beautiful, and we felt like we were waking up in the woods. We even saw a little rabbit jumping around the pond outside our door. The handmade soap bars and shampoos were a lovely touch. it was fantastic value for money with beautiful grounds for morning walks.

The log cabins at Dunmore Gardens in rural East Donegal are a hidden jewel. The location is tranquil and peaceful, surrounded by gorgeous gardens. Amelia, the host, is extremely welcoming and helpful. The cabins are elegant and well-fitted, providing all the amenities needed for a nice relaxing stay. The gardens are beautiful and perfect for wandering or sitting in. The option to self-cater is great, with a comfortable kitchen/dining room/sitting room available. The proximity to the historic and beautiful city of Derry, only 10 minutes away, provides opportunities for a more hectic stay.

The location of the cabins was ideal, with beautiful beaches nearby and Derry City just a short distance away. The cabins themselves were clean and comfortable, with modern bathrooms and provided tea and coffee. The grounds were stunning, with a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The hosts were welcoming and provided excellent communication and tips for local attractions.

The cleaning could have been slightly better, with some cobwebs and a lack of attention to detail in providing creamer and sugar for the tea and coffee.
