The room was clean and comfy. The breakfast was quite good and all the staff are friendly and helpful. There is ample room for parking in the back.

We traveled in a group of four and stayed at Friar's Lodge for a few nights in October. The spacious rooms and fantastic bathroom stood out, with an amazing shower pressure. The secure parking and close proximity to bars and a lovely marina added to the convenience. The breakfast was delicious and the staff, especially Mary, were friendly and accommodating. it was a complete and amazing stay, and we only regretted not staying longer.

My family and I recently stayed at a lovely guesthouse just a short walk from the town center. The room at Friar's Lodge was incredibly spacious, with comfortable beds and pillows. We appreciated the daily room service, which included making the beds, cleaning, and refreshing our tea and biscuits. The location was perfect, as it only took us a couple of minutes to walk into town. The breakfast each morning was fantastic, with a great buffet selection and a delicious Irish breakfast to start the day. The staff in the breakfast room were incredibly helpful and friendly, and even remembered my son's preferences each morning.

The decor in the room felt outdated and tired, giving the place a low budget feel. The beds were uncomfortable and could use an upgrade.

The breakfast selection was fantastic, with plenty of juices and food to choose from, including delicious pancakes. Additionally, the location of the lodge was perfect for exploring the area on foot.

They even noticed our love for coffee and pastries and surprised us with a pot of fresh coffee and croissants for our early departure. The room was spacious and exceeded our expectations, considering it was labeled as 'budget'. The hotel facilities were excellent, especially the parking which was safe and convenient. The location was ideal, just a short walk away from the town center and marina. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious and the staff made sure we had a great dining experience.
