The Glasshouse in Sligo is a fantastic choice for backpackers. The hotel is conveniently located in the city centre, within walking distance of transportation links. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and a tea/coffee setup. The staff, especially the blonde lady at check-in and the managers of the kitchen/bar café, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and served efficiently. The price for a two-night stay with breakfast was very reasonable.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the town, and the views from the breakfast room were stunning. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was modern and well-maintained. Overall I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at this hotel.

The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was situated on a quiet street near the water, allowing us to enjoy the peaceful sound of the water flow during our stay. the hotel was conveniently located close to riverside restaurants and cafés, making it easy for us to explore and dine out. The room itself was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was perfect, ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. The staff were incredibly helpful and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options to start our day.

One negative aspect was that the hotel was difficult to locate if driving, due to the confusing one-way system in the area.

During my recent stay at this venue, I was amazed by its location. It was situated right in the heart of the town, and everything I needed was just a few steps away. The staff were amazing, and I received exceptional service from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. I was impressed by the room amenities, ranging from the air conditioning, the television, the electric kettle, the telephone to the comfortable carpeted floor. The bar/lounge area was perfect for relaxation, and I enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the special diet menus.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this place.

As women traveling alone, we felt safe and secure at this hotel. The friendly staff made us feel welcome and provided excellent service. The food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious and offered great value. The vibrant colors and proximity to shops and bars added to the overall experience. The manager, Cara, was hands-on and attentive, and Claudia, a waitress in the restaurant, made us feel at home with her warm and friendly demeanor.

Staying here was such a delight! The location was perfect, right in the center of town, close to beautiful boutiques and the Artisan market on Sunday morning in Strandhill. The room was fantastic - clean and spacious with a bathroom that had all the necessary toiletries. The service was superb - staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options. The view from the room was breathtaking - stunning views of the Shannon River! The car park had plenty of room with good parking facilities as well as slippers and robes in the bathroom.

The restaurant could use some improvement with a few dishes that were not up to standard.

During our romantic escape, we enjoyed the complimentary meals that came along with our room. the location of the hotel was fantastic as it was within walking distance of popular tourist hotspots. we were pleasantly surprised by the stunning views from our balcony.

Although the staff was friendly overall, we had an unfortunate encounter with a bar staff member who was quite rude. we found the information provided by the staff about local events to be lacking, which caused us to miss out on evening entertainment.
