the accommodation, although basic , was clean and functional. the location in the center of Achill Sound was convenient, and Marie was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. the breakfast was also delicious.

From the moment we arrived, Marie made us feel incredibly welcome. She even greeted us with a cup of tea that was made with love. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of condiments and perfectly presented food. The service was excellent, and the dining area was impeccably clean. The location is also great, situated on the wild Atlantic route and just a short walk from the village. the hospitality, quality of food, and helpfulness of the staff made our stay exceptional. Breakfast was absolutely lovely with a delicious selection of options including cereals, fruits, and a cooked fry up. The location was great, within walking distance to the village where there were plenty of options to eat and drink. It was also conveniently located near a supermarket, local shop, chemist, cafe, and take away. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable.

There were no tea making facilities in the room, which was a bit disappointing. the pillows were flat and not very comfortable, but we were able to solve this by using a spare cushion underneath.

The lady owner was beyond amazing, so friendly and helpful! She even let us check in early. The room was super clean and breakfast was mind-blowing! The location was perfect for exploring Achill Island and there were so many outdoor activities to do like hiking, cycling, and fishing. Plus, the free wi-fi, free parking, and laundry service were a bonus. an unforgettable stay!

Nothing not to like.

After a full day of exploring, Marie warmly welcomed us and made us feel at home. Our spacious and clean room provided a comfortable bed, ample storage, and plenty of hot water. Marie went above and beyond, providing a delicious made-to-order breakfast and sharing insider tips for a unique island tour. We were able to conveniently lock our bikes in a shed and the B&B's location near the bridge, pub, hotel, and shop was ideal. Highly recommended.
