We were treated to delicious meals at the cafe and restaurant, and the waterfall added to the magical atmosphere. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend this hidden gem.

Driving up to the house, it was stunning! Inside, a lot of the old furniture, artwork, and decor were breathtaking. the house had a calm, happy, inviting atmosphere. Staff and owners were friendly and accommodating. the food was delicious, we had a vegetarian breakfast. I had a lovely chat with Penn. the view and gardens were simply beautiful! It was the best vacation in ages. There were 4 lovely, quiet cats which stayed outside of the house at all times.

There was a lot of noise coming from the hallway, making it difficult to have a peaceful night's sleep. the staff was unhelpful and acted like they didn't care about our needs.

The location of the hotel is a bit out of the way, but the narrow winding roadway adds to its charm. Once you arrive, you'll be rewarded with stunning views of the bay and a lovely little beach just 200m down the road. The gardens surrounding the hotel are a true delight, with water features, meadows, dinosaur sculptures, a waterfall. Be sure to reserve a couple of hours to walk through the gardens and take in the serene atmosphere.
