The exterior of the hotel is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful rose garden and an outdoor bar patio. Our room, located in a small courtyard, was clean and well-equipped. The food in the 1180 restaurant was very good, especially the fish dishes. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing and enjoyable, making for a great stay.

The location of the 1180 restaurant in the castle proper is a unique and enchanting dining experience. The delicious meals from Hermione's restaurant and the friendly staff make for a memorable stay. The room in the small courtyard of the castle was clean and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. The beautiful grounds, tennis courts, and spa provide ample opportunities for relaxation.

The lack of signage and guidance from the reception staff can be confusing for first-time guests.

The breakfast was delicious and the spa was phenomenal. The staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service. The views of the castle and grounds were breathtaking. I highly recommend this hotel.

Andrew, in particular, went above and beyond to anticipate our every need. The service, from room service to housekeeping, was top-notch. The hotel offered a paid airport shuttle service, which was convenient for us. The room amenities were excellent, with ironing facilities, heating, and a sitting area. We also enjoyed the free Wi-Fi and the terrace with garden furniture.

The difficulty with dragging our luggage over a gravel car park, which was awkward for us. However, this was a minor concern that didn't detract from our overall wonderful experience.

The meal in 1180 was excellent, with stunning views and a lovely atmosphere. We also enjoyed dining in Hermione's, which had a special charm with its conservatory setting. The staff, especially David Pedro in Hermione's, were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in a hotel, with delicious fresh fruit and a variety of hot options. I would go back in a heartbeat and strongly recommend this hotel!

I had an amazing stay at this stunning castle. the grounds were gorgeous and the staff were incredibly friendly. the hotel took my dietary requirements into consideration without me even having to ask, and I enjoyed a fabulous 3-course meal at their fine dining restaurant. My room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. the castle had a real medieval feel and the breakfast served in the castle keep was outstanding. it was a fantastic experience and I hope to come back soon.

Staying in a very old castle was a fantastic experience. the castle rooms were spacious, luxurious, and warm, with comfortable furnishings and well-fitted out bathrooms. the front-of-house staff were friendly and made check-in simple. the breakfast and food in general were excellent, with an extensive wine range. the spa was intimate and the massage therapist was warm, welcoming, and highly experienced.
