A Clean and Convenient Stay

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at this hostel. The cleanliness of the bathrooms stood out - we noticed that the hand towels were replaced daily, which was a nice touch. Despite the rooms being a bit dingy, the hostel made up for it with its excellent location on the main drag. Although it was a 10-minute walk from the bus station, it was easily accessible. The hostel also provided a safe and secure environment, although lockers were not available. we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hostel for a budget-friendly and convenient accommodation option in Kilkenny.

The location of this hostel was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the town. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, providing great recommendations for things to see and do. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with surprisingly clean mattresses and pillows. The bath towels provided were fresh and smelled nice. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook meals. the hostel offered a delicious smelling food option for those who didn't want to cook.

The overall cleanliness of the hostel left something to be desired, with noticeable dirt and mold in certain areas.

Stayed at a hostel in Kilkenny for Christmas and had a mixed experience. the two best aspects of the hostel were its central location, right in the heart of town, and the fact that it was reasonably priced. Being able to easily access local attractions and amenities was a major plus.

There were several downsides to our experience. the cleanliness of the hostel left much to be desired.

I had a one-night stay at this hostel and was pleasantly surprised by the value it offered. the beds and bathrooms were clean, and the hostel had a nice interior with well-stocked kitchen and comfortable lounge areas. the location was great, with several pubs just across the street for those who want to enjoy a pint. It was also conveniently close to attractions like the Smithwick's brewery and Kilkenny Castle, both within walking distance. I had a great experience and would definitely consider staying here again.

As youngsters, we loved the Kilkenny Hostel's chilled vibe and sizeable communal areas. The kitchen, dining room, and living room were spacious, and free coffee was a pleasant surprise. The location was ideal, just a short walk from major tourist attractions and great pubs. The staff were friendly and approachable, providing excellent restaurant recommendations. The shared toilets and showers were clean and always available. a fantastic experience for young travelers.

Excellent value for money, with a great location in the heart of town. The old building had a lot of charm and character. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and our private room with a comfortable lower bunk bed made for a pleasant stay.

The hostel's central location allowed us to easily explore Kilkenny's main street, castle, and Christmas market within minutes. Convenient and affordable parking options were available nearby. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were warm and comfortable.

You will have easy access to all the attractions and pubs in the area. the hostel has a great kitchen with multiple fridges for guests to use, allowing you to cook your own meals and save some money. The noise levels at night can be quite disruptive, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
