We asked for a room with a nice view, and we got a beautiful room with a view over a serene canal. the room was very clean and beautifully decorated, with lovely treats waiting for us and a large complimentary bottle of water. the fresh breakfast offered was excellent, accompanied by great coffee, which is not always the case in hotels. the charming decor and attentive staff added to a pleasant stay.

The staff were not the best - we experienced a mix-up with our bags at checkout, and the bar staff were a bit rude. there were some areas that seemed not quite ready yet, like odd lighting in the room and inconsistent room servicing timing.
