The host was warm, friendly, and accommodating. They even juggled beds to accommodate a member of our group with a physical disability. Taxi service to and from Darver Castle was reliable. The fridge was well stocked, allowing for a cooked breakfast if desired. The property was comfortable and exceeded our expectations, with spacious rooms and access to a lovely drawing room and sitting area with TVs. The continental breakfast included delicious homemade brown bread and marmalade. Mauread, the landlady, went above and beyond by providing eggs, bacon, and sausages for those who wanted a hot breakfast. The hosts, Mauread and Denis, were absolutely terrific and couldn't do enough for us, even offering to drive us to a family event without charge.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home. The bed was big and comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. Having access to the kitchen was a great convenience that made it feel like a home away from home. Plus, the location was perfect, with easy access to the main road and nearby attractions.

It was a bit challenging to find the hotel at night as it is set back from the minor road. the provided photo was misleading as it showed the opposite side of the entrance.

I had an amazing stay at the Old Parochial House Guest House. From the moment I arrived, Mairead, the owner, made me feel right at home. the bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was clean and tidy. the breakfast provided exceeded my expectations, with a variety of options including eggs, bacon, sausages, and homemade marmalade. the property itself was spacious and I had access to different sitting areas with flat screen TVs. the hosts, Mairead and Denis, were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. I would highly recommend the Old Parochial House Guest House for its warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and delicious breakfast.
