The hotel is close to stunning beaches, with Magheroarty being hailed as one of the most beautiful places on the planet. The rooms are comfortable, with helpful and friendly staff providing exceptional service. The bar offers delicious food at reasonable prices, and the breakfast is tasty and satisfying. The hotel also has ample parking and is actively engaged in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.

Some guests have reported issues with the key/locking system, which could be improved for better security.

This hotel is a great base for exploring the stunning West of Donegal. With its convenient location near beautiful beaches and attractions, you'll have plenty to see and do. The staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The rooms, although on the smaller side, offer a great view and are kept clean. The breakfast is tasty and the bar food is delicious and reasonably priced.

The staff quickly resolved room issues and upgraded us. Room had a large bed and hydro massage bath. Generous breakfast and perfect location. Grateful for the helpful and friendly service.

I recently had a great stay at a hotel in a convenient location down the Donegal Coast. the staff at the hotel were friendly, efficient, and attentive, despite the current industry shortages. They followed all cleaning guidelines and the hotel was visibly well-maintained. the restaurant had a well-stocked bar with great food, and the breakfasts were excellent, except for the porridge which wasn't to my taste. it was a good stay with minor niggles.

We stayed at Ostan Loch Altan for a weekend getaway on Donegal's Atlantic coast. The hotel was clean, with spotless rooms and a great shower. It was popular with surfers and locals, and had good parking. The staff were friendly and helpful, quickly resolving a small issue with our room. The hotel had a cozy sitting area and the food in the restaurant and bar was excellent. a reasonable choice for exploring the beautiful beaches in the area.

The breakfast offered plenty of options and was very filling. the location was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and activities. the staff were friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.

There were loud parties and general noise from outside that made it difficult to sleep or relax. some aspects of the rooms were a bit outdated and could use some improvement.

I particularly appreciated the availability of tea and coffee facilities in the room, which are often not found in many places. The food at the restaurant was delicious and offered great value for money. my experience was fantastic and I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again in the future.

Although my stay was mostly positive, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The first is that I waited for the dessert menu at the restaurant and, unfortunately, it was not brought to me before the end of the day.
