We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Portobello Hotel. The spacious room with a canal view and two king size beds was perfect for our needs. The bar on the ground floor and the nightclub in the basement added to the vibrant atmosphere. The reception staff were helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

We felt very happy with our stay at the Portobello Hotel. The staff were attentive and accommodating, and nothing was too much trouble.

Quaint Victorian building, helpful staff, and a convenient location for exploring. The excitement of a noisy bar is the perfect lullaby for sleep-deprived tourists.

Pee on the toilet seat, dirty skylight, and a front-row seat to a late-night domestic altercation. Just what every posh guest dreams of.

The staff member who saw us off was friendly and helpful. the hotel's location was perfect, with a lovely view of the canal and Rathmines. the room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities such as tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits provided.

The walls and blinds in the room were messy and could use some cleaning. the noise from the nightclub downstairs was quite loud, which made it difficult to sleep.

Comfortable beds. Hospitable staff and well-furnished rooms. Lovely Irish breakfast. Hotel bar serves tasty food and drinks at reasonable prices. Free wifi. Friendly atmosphere. Excellent value for money. Good option for UK guests. Will return.

We had a fantastic stay at Portobello! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. The room was lovely and spacious, and we especially loved the view overlooking the canal. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, with a great variety of options including a fantastic Irish breakfast. The location was perfect, with the city center just a 15-minute walk away and plenty of amenities nearby.
