I stayed at River's Edge for a week while exploring the beautiful area. The staff were outstanding, the rooms were impeccable, and the breakfast was wonderful. The B&B is situated right by the river with a sitting-out terrace overlooking a peaceful stretch of water. It's also conveniently located near a great selection of watering holes and eateries. Family-run by locals, it was the perfect base for my trip.

I appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee provided. Leon, the host, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He made me feel welcome and gave me great recommendations for places to eat and visit in the area. The breakfast spread was amazing, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. Glengarriff itself is a charming little town that I highly recommend exploring, and staying at River's Edge made my visit even more enjoyable.

While there were few negative points, one suggestion I have is that the pool should be made available to guests. It would be a great addition and could be kept clean and heated, providing a nice amenity for relaxation.

River's Edge B&B is a true gem! It's elegant, yet relaxing. Our bedroom was lovely; comfortable bed, full bathroom and all spotlessly clean. Leo, the host, is very accommodating and his breakfasts were delicious! The decking area overlooking the river and the swimming pool were perfect for enjoying the sun. Leo even brought out strawberries and ice for our gin. The selection of cold cuts and cheese for breakfast gave it a touch of fancy. Definitely a nice stay!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The suite was spacious and comfortable, with a full kitchen and two balconies. The indoor pool was a hit with my kids, and having a washer/dryer combo in the suite was so convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. It was a short walk to the center of town where all the shops and restaurants were, and the view of the harbor from the balcony was absolutely stunning.
