As longer term business travelers, we loved the off-road location in a picturesque village with beautiful river views. The clean rooms and delicious breakfast were delightful. Lochlann, the inn's proprietor, provided us with valuable local information. The proximity to Carrickmacross, famous for lace making, was a bonus. The onsite bar added to the charm.

We had a wonderful stay at the guesthouse. the staff were welcoming and made us feel right at home. the room was spacious and comfortable, and the shower was great. the countryside setting was absolutely stunning, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the local area. the food and drink at the country pub were delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy. We felt we got great value for money and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at Riverbank. We will definitely be back!

The weak wifi signal, although it did give me the opportunity to disconnect from technology. Another inconvenience was the distance to the nearest pub, which required a 15 minute drive or a taxi ride.
