Just got back from a wonderful stay at Riversdale in beautiful Donegal. The family room was spacious and spotless, and the beds were so comfortable. Wilson and Sharon were excellent hosts, with plenty of local knowledge to share. We loved the breakfast, especially the homemade wheaten bread - Sharon even shared the recipe with me! The roof terrace outside our room was a bonus, perfect for enjoying the lovely location.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming countryside retreat. This hotel offers incredible value for money, with reasonable prices that won't break the bank. The attention to detail is outstanding, from the comfortable pillows and quality duvet to the spotless rooms. The location is perfect for exploring the breathtaking Inishowen peninsula, with stunning views of the mountains from the rooms. I especially loved the breakfast, with a wide variety of options including a delicious fruit salad beautifully presented on plates like works of art.

All aspects of this hotel were exceptional, nothing to improve.

riversdale country house was even better than our previous stay in malin. the cozy woodburner, delicious breakfast, and beautiful furnishings made our winter visit extremely comfortable and enjoyable.

Spending Christmas at this charming countryside inn was a wonderful experience. the delicious homemade scones and tea upon arrival were a delightful surprise and set the tone for a warm and welcoming stay. the stunning view from the room was one of the best aspects of the stay. the comfortable beds ensured a great night’s sleep.

There was no access to 24-hour news, which may be important to some guests. However, these small drawbacks are greatly outweighed by the exceptional hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and delicious food.
