The view from our cabin was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning scenery of the surrounding countryside and a beautiful lake. It was the perfect setting for our romantic escape. The cabin itself was cozy and welcoming, with all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the cabin had everything we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to a comfortable bed. It made our stay easy and enjoyable.

There were a few aspects that could have been better. We noticed some signs of neglect, such as rotten wood decking outside our cabin and a general lack of attention to detail.

Southern County Resort was an amazing value for the money. The room was clean, spacious, and super comfortable. The location was perfect, with stunning views and plenty of space for the kids to roam around. The staff, especially Pat and Ann, were absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and even helped us with our car trouble. We will definitely be back next year!

The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was if they had a wider variety of breakfast options.

My family and I just had a fantastic holiday at a resort in the south of the country. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and her family and the property was immaculately clean. The resort had plenty of activities for the kids, including horses, ducks, and hens. We also had a lot of fun fishing and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. It was a perfect getaway for our family.

Nothing to complain about, it was a wonderful experience. 😊
