I had such a wonderful respite after a long drive at this hidden gem on the north west coast of Mayo. The hotel was tastefully renovated, with a charming atmosphere and delicious food. The views were absolutely beautiful, and the personal touches in our room made it even more special. I highly recommend Stella Maris Country House B&B for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

We had an amazing stay at this B&B. The staff, especially the owner Frances, were incredibly attentive and treated us like family from the moment we arrived. The property itself is beautiful, with a turn of the century seaside resort feel. The cleanliness of the room was outstanding and the ocean view from our window was absolutely stunning. The hotel facilities, including the large and bright conservatory, were top-notch. The location, right beside the sea in a quiet, rural area, was perfect for a short break with my husband. Another highlight was the delicious breakfast, made to order using local produce. the staff, cleanliness, hotel facilities, location, and breakfast were all exceptional.

I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious and comfortable hotel. The room was very cozy, with a lovely view from the window. The shower was fantastic and the bed linen was incredibly soft. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very attentive. I also loved the homelike atmosphere of the hotel, it really made me feel relaxed and at ease. the quality of service and level of comfort provided at this hotel were truly impressive.

De gastheren zijn ongelooflijk vriendelijk! Ze hebben aan alles gedacht, van het comfortabele bed tot de wasmachine en droger. De voorzieningen zijn fantastisch, met een prachtig privéterras en grill. De locatie is perfect, op slechts enkele minuten van lokale winkels en restaurants. Geweldige deal! 10/10!

I stayed at a B&B over Easter and there were a couple of things that stood out for me. the location was fantastic. the views were stunning and it was such a peaceful and calm environment. Secondly, the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner that was provided. the meals were made with fresh local produce and had great flavor. Lastly, the owners were very friendly and accommodating. They were welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay.

There were a few things that I didn't quite enjoy. the room furnishings were a bit worn out and could use some updating.

My xmas stay at this place was amazing. the owner was friendly and made sure all my dietary needs were met. I got delicious vegan meals made with local produce. the view from my room was breathtaking, overlooking the sea. the property was clean and well-maintained, and the rooms had a perfect blend of modern style and old-world charm. the breakfast was freshly made to order and absolutely delicious. the location was ideal, with easy access to stunning beaches and beautiful views. It was the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing xmas getaway.

I was a bit disappointed that there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room and no safe. Also, the evening meal options were limited and the restaurant lacked atmosphere.

The best part of my stay was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the staff, especially our delightful host Francis. The historic house was well maintained and had amazing views of the coast. The comfortable sunroom was perfect for enjoying the stunning scenery even in bad weather. The location on the north Mayo coast, close to Ballycastle, was peaceful and quiet, with easy access to beautiful hiking trails and the beach. The breakfast was excellent, and the room itself was cozy and clean.
