step house is very quaint and very very clean. the hotel is close to an in-cellar restaurant - perfect for a special night out. the staff are exceptional - very friendly and helpful. great for hiking enthusiasts as there are fantastic walks nearby. cons: 100% recommend.

Absolutely amazing hotel. From check in to check out everything was great. the food was delicious, and the owner and staff were friendly and helpful. the lobby with the open fire made me feel relaxed, and the bedrooms were spacious and clean. the breakfast was cooked fresh and piping hot. I especially enjoyed the character of the dining area.

We had a lovely stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location in the forest was absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by the natural beauty of County Carlow. It was so peaceful and secluded, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hotel itself was in the centre of the village, making it convenient to explore the charming surroundings. The restaurant served top-quality food that was beautifully presented. The staff were professional and lovely, despite a slight issue with service at the reception desk. The room amenities were great, including ironing facilities and tea and coffee facilities. this place offered enhanced comfort and quality services.

We hit up the entertainment area for some serious fun, and then chilled at the cool bar, where the music was pumping.

The rooms were like mega comfy, and the staff were super chill and helpful. Cons: Wish there was a bit more party vibe in the evenings for us young crowd - like a DJ spinning some sick beats in the bar would be epic!

The fire in the entrance was really cozy and inviting, perfect for a cold day. the breakfast was hot and delicious and the garden was well taken care of.

The carpets in our room were heavily stained and the bed was uncomfortable. the morning shower had no hot water, and while it was fixed later on, it was still an inconvenience.
