The lounge, with its open fire, was the perfect place to relax. We were treated to a delicious breakfast, with Daphne's scrumptious pancakes being a highlight. I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The location was perfect for me, nestled in a forest near the Wicklow Mountains and the picturesque area of Glendalough. Everything I needed was in walking distance, which made exploring the area a breeze. The free toiletries and electric kettle were a nice touch, and I loved watching TV on the flat-screen while lounging on the parquet floor. The hearty breakfast was definitely a highlight of the stay, with delicious porridge that was very tasty. the open fire in the lounge and the wood beams in the bedroom ceiling gave an inviting and cozy atmosphere to the place. the owner was very friendly and helpful, offering good advice and information about the local attractions.

The bedroom was inadequately heated, with the central heating turned off at night and not turned on the following morning, making it very cold. the loo seat was also broken and badly worn underneath.
