We had a fantastic stay at Tara Lodge. The room was spacious and beautiful, with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom with a bathtub. The owner, Orla, was incredibly kind and made us feel well taken care of. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of delicious options including scrambled eggs, cereals, bread, fruits. The only downside was that the coffee was a bit weak for our taste, but overall it was a great start to the day.

The room was incredibly spacious with a large ensuite bathroom - jaw-dropping! The lovely lady of the house personally drove me to town on Saturday night - mind-blowing! The breakfast was absolutely wonderful - super! The location was easily accessible from the main roads and only a 30 minute walk or short bus/taxi ride to downtown, eliminating the need to drive into the narrow and busy streets. The parking right on the doorstep was a huge plus. The host was incredible, offering to drive us anywhere, providing great restaurant suggestions, and being extremely accommodating. The location was perfect - easy to get to downtown but still peaceful and quiet. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable with a TV and tea-making facilities. Lastly, the hostess was warm, caring, and nurturing, making sure that all guests felt comfortable and safe. The breakfasts were amazing with a wide variety of options available. The house had a calm atmosphere and a lovely view of the garden. Parking was free and restricted, a rarity in cities.
