staying at the village inn was such a delightful experience. from the warm welcome by John and his Mam, to the clean and spacious rooms, everything exceeded my expectations. the shared kitchen and dining facilities were a bonus, and the friendly staff made our stay truly memorable. the bar had a great selection at affordable prices, and the overall Irish hospitality was top-notch.

Fantastic Irish Hospitality and Cleanliness

Cannot recommend this place highly enough for its fantastic Irish hospitality from the manager and his Mam, clean rooms, and beautiful property. the shared facilities were spotless and the bar offered a great selection of drinks at reasonable prices. A minor drawback was some noise disturbance from a late-night party, but overall a very enjoyable stay.

I always return to this cozy hideaway. Staff found my lost earring once. It's perfect - free parking, bar, restaurant, and welcome drink. Also has a lovely picnic area, games, and non-smoking rooms. Coming back for the weekend.

We even had a lovely welcome drink upon arrival, adding a special touch to our visit. the traditional pub atmosphere below added to the charm, with friendly locals making the experience even more memorable.

While our stay was mostly enjoyable, the late-night music from downstairs did make it challenging to get a good night's sleep. It would be wonderful if the hotel could consider adjusting the noise levels to ensure all guests can rest peacefully and fully enjoy the next day's activities.

The Village Inn in Bohola had charming rooms, friendly staff, and a huge shared kitchen. the loud music until 1:30am kept us up all night. Despite this, the neighborhood pub was fun with great drinks. Beds were cozy, and the location was peaceful. Would stay again.

The Village Inn was absolutely mind-blowing! The room was spotless and the bed was super comfortable. The bar had an incredible music session on Saturday night and the staff were jaw-droppingly friendly and helpful. I loved that there was cereal, milk, tea bags, and coffee available in the kitchen. The lovely landlady guided us to fantastic local restaurants and attractions. The facilities were excellent, with a spacious kitchen and dining room. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, and the location was perfect, just a 20-minute drive from the airport. I also appreciated the availability of a family room and the amazing breakfast at the gourmet cafe next door. To top it off, we were welcomed with a refreshing drink. The Village Inn had everything we needed, from free parking to a bar/lounge area, restaurant, coffee shop, picnic area/tables, leisure/TV room. And if you're a non-smoker like me, they have non-smoking rooms available. I can't wait to stay here again if I'm in the area!

Felt really comfortable, no reason to complain.

Upon entering the bar, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms and the overall charm of the accommodation. It was much better than I expected. The location was also great for exploring County Mayo and the surrounding areas.

There was loud music being played downstairs until 1:30am, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. This affected our plans for the next day as we were too tired.
