The location was great for visiting friends and exploring the area. The lodge we stayed in was fantastic, and the grounds were peaceful. The restaurant maitre d' was fantastic and gave great recommendations. The staff was excellent at every step of our stay, making us feel well taken care of. The ambiance and charm of the rooms were impressive.

A Wonderful Stay at Waterford Castle

During my recent stay at Waterford Castle, I had the pleasure of staying in one of their beautiful lodges. The lodge was spacious, with three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, making it perfect for a family getaway. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to cook our own meals and truly feel at home.

Beautiful property and surroundings. Family lodge was comfortable and cost-effective. Enjoyed breakfast in the main Castle building. Clay-pigeon shooting lesson was a highlight.

Front desk poorly attended. Some stains and chipped furniture in the rooms.

Our stay at Waterford Castle Resort was absolutely perfect. The accommodation in the lodges exceeded our expectations, with the highlight being the abundant outside space at the back of the lodge. The food at the clubhouse was excellent and reasonably priced. While the castle itself was a bit pricey, we still enjoyed having a cocktail each night. The walks around the island were fantastic, with plenty of wildlife to see, including deer and even a badger. The ferry trip added to the whole experience. The location, accommodation, and staff were all top-notch. We didn't want to leave and will definitely consider staying again. a truly wonderful escape.

The location of this place is simply stunning, right in the middle of the city, on an island in the River Suir estuary. The views from the hotel were absolutely breathtaking.

I had an unforgettable stay at this amazing castle for a family wedding. The location was stunning, with breathtaking views over gardens and a river. The suite I stayed in was extremely comfortable and spacious, and the service was second to none. The breakfast in the atrium overlooking the gardens was delicious, and the wildlife sightings added to the charm.

The high clawfoot tub in the bathroom, which was a bit awkward to get into.
