I recently stayed at a charming B&B just off the roundabout at the town square, offering a great location near the centre of the town. The room was very comfortable and had recent renovations, providing a cozy atmosphere. The owner was friendly and helpful, offering recommendations for places to eat and visit. The breakfast was lovely, and the B&B was conveniently located next to Strokestown Park and the National Famine Museum.

Although the wifi didn't work in the room, I was able to access it by sitting in the hallway.

The breakfast in the warm and inviting dining room was delicious, with a wide variety of choices. The convenient location, with a Eurospar shop right on the doorstep, made it easy to access everything I needed. But the best part was the owner, who was incredibly receptive, friendly, and accommodating.

The entire establishment seemed dingy and unmaintained. the bathroom was not well cleaned and smelt musty.
