my recent stay at wildwood lodge in carlingford was superb. the views from the hill were breathtaking, and the covered sitting area was a hidden gem. the host, paul, was unbelievably helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. the spacious and clean rooms, along with the little touches like wine glasses, made for a truly relaxing getaway.

Breakfast options could be improved.

Great location just a short walk from the town with its quirky pubs and delicious Riinas Italian restaurant. The accommodation was perfect, with a lovely open living area, a great shower room, and fantastic views. We even had fresh croissants, orange juice, and toast for breakfast. a wonderful stay.

Nothing major, just a few minor maintenance issues with the taps and flush in the room. It would also be nice to have a shower door instead of a curtain.
