Nestled right in the town center, this hotel boasts a prime location opposite the Castle, offering easy access to shops, museums, and the picturesque harbor. the staff here is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making for a warm and intimate stay experience. We were impressed by the cleanliness and the overall hotel facilities, including a cozy breakfast area and convenient parking at the rear of the property.

Couldn't find any shortcomings during our stay.

During my recent business trip to Castletown, my director chose the George Hotel for our stay. the hotel's excellent location right on the main square provided easy access to explore the town. Our room was spacious and elegant, offering a lovely view of the square. I particularly enjoyed the evening meals, especially the delicious steak and ale pie. the Isle of Man steam railway passing through Ballasalla added a unique touch to our stay.

Hotel stopped serving food after 6.00 on Sunday, causing inconvenience as other nearby options were fully booked or had run out.

we had a wonderful time at George. the friendly staff made us feel welcome, offering great tips on local attractions. the room was impeccably clean with a cozy seating area and a balcony overlooking the lively square. delicious home-cooked meals, a comfortable bed, and a warm atmosphere added to our enjoyment. the location was excellent, perfect for exploring the town and its charming coffee houses and museums.

We had the most delightful stay in this place. the location is superb, right in the centre overlooking the castle, offering beautiful views of the main square of this picturesque fishing village. the service here is exceptional, from the warm welcome drink to the helpful staff who go above and beyond to assist with tours and tickets. the room amenities were top-notch, with a cozy sitting area, a dining table, and lovely garden furniture outside. the housekeeping was impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and spotless stay. There were also many leisure facilities available, such as live entertainment and a sun terrace. the dining restaurant and bar/lounge area provided a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy delicious meals and drinks. We highly recommend this venue to anyone seeking a luxurious and comfortable stay with excellent service. Cons: Highly recommended for a fantastic experience with outstanding services and amenities.

One aspect that could be improved is the lack of a lift in the hotel, especially staying on the higher floors. It would be beneficial to have this convenience to make the stay more comfortable for all visitors.
