My stay at the hotel was excellent. The staff at Penta were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They were kind enough to change our room to a spacious ground floor room with a beautiful sea view. The room itself was great, with plenty of room and a fantastic shower. The staff even assisted us when we missed our ferry, allowing us to make a phone call from the reception to arrange an overnight stay in Morecambe. the experience was enjoyable and we look forward to coming back. The Penta Douglas is a great value for money hotel. With its prime location on the promenade in Douglas, the hotel offers stunning views of the seafront. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with large windows that allow plenty of natural light to flood in. The attention to detail is impressive, from the biscuits provided with the tea and coffee facilities to the nice view of the promenade. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, ensuring that guests have a pleasant stay. The basic amenities are all provided, including a good-sized bathroom with all the necessary toiletries. And to top it all off, the breakfast, although at an extra cost, is delicious and served with a view of the promenade.

I had a very enjoyable stay at this budget hotel. the staff at Penta were friendly and helpful. the room was spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom, including a full-sized bath with shower over. I appreciated the amenities such as tea and coffee in the room. the breakfast provided toast, yogurt, and cereal, which was more than enough. I had a great experience and would definitely book again.

The hotel is in an excellent position, right on the promenade with easy access to the electric railway and steam railway. The rooms are large, airy, very clean, and have comfortable beds. The bathrooms are spacious, very clean, and well-equipped. The staff provides excellent service, going above and beyond to meet guests' needs. The breakfast offers a choice of cereal, fruit juice, toast, jam, and coffee or tea.

The towels and bedding are old and tired.

The room at The Penta was spacious and clean, with a bathroom that looked recently renovated. I appreciated the easy-to-use shower and the availability of both a shower and bath. The location was also convenient, just a short walk from the Manx Electric Railway. I was pleased to find that they provided soya at breakfast for vegetarians like me. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I had a positive experience and would recommend this hotel.

The lack of cold water was a major inconvenience. the room was uncomfortably warm and despite having the windows open, it didn't help with the temperature.

I recently stayed at a hotel with an amazing location and beautiful views of the sea and electric railway. The hotel had shops and takeout options just down the road, and the best part was that breakfast was included! I loved that I had a choice of cereals, toast, yogurts. The hotel was great value for money, with spacious and spotless rooms, quick check-in, and daily thorough cleaning. The peaceful atmosphere and good wifi were an added bonus.
