I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel nestled next to a majestic castle. The view from my room, complete with a balcony, was simply breathtaking. I couldn't help but admire the fine drawings on the ceiling, adding an elegant touch to the room. The attention to detail in this hotel, from the tasteful decor to the homemade sweets at breakfast, was truly impressive. The staff, particularly the owner Elisa, were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay.

Nothing to improve, everything was perfect.

The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, right next to the castle. You can enjoy breathtaking views of the valley from your room. The hotel is also conveniently close to the center, making it easy to explore the charming town. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with stylish decorations that add to the medieval castle atmosphere. The breakfast served is delicious with a variety of options to choose from.

One aspect that could be improved is the thin walls. While it didn't bother us much as we had the next door house to ourselves, it might be a bit noisy if the hotel is fully occupied.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. the view from the balcony was stunning, perfect for a romantic stay. the building had a classic charm to it.

The location was not ideal as it was quite far from the center and the parking was limited and difficult to find. We had to park far away from the hotel and walk.

Wow! The room exceeded my expectations. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a spacious room with a luxurious king-sized bed. But the best part was the breathtaking view from the French doors and even the bathroom window. The staff were friendly and I highly recommend getting a room with a balcony. Although there may not be much to do in Poppi, I would definitely stay at Albergo San Lorenzo again. I had a fantastic experience at this charming and comfortable hotel.
