The service and staff at Aquatio were amazing, always attentive to our needs. The breakfast had a great selection of cheeses, breads, and cakes, and they even prepared eggs to our liking. The hotel upgraded our room and the view from the upper balcony was incredible. The location in the center of the Sassi made our stay exceptional, giving us a true cave dwelling experience. Matera itself is one of the most interesting and unusual places we've visited in Italy. we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this hotel.

We had a unique and luxurious experience staying in a cave in the very Centre of Sassi. The room was clean and special, and the bathroom was comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and professional, and the breakfast had a lot of options. The location was fantastic, and we enjoyed being able to explore the old town.

There were some issues with the service, as the staff were reluctant to provide information on the hikes to the caves.

The hotel offers great views and a prime location in the old part of town. The breakfast is fantastic and the staff is extremely helpful, going above and beyond to assist guests. The room is comfortable with a lovely shower and there are nice touches like bathrobes and slippers.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of the historic part of town, allowing easy access to all the main attractions. The staff were incredibly helpful, providing great recommendations and ensuring our needs were met. The spa was a much-needed retreat after a long day of exploring Matera. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast offerings each morning. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional design, convenient location, and attentive service.

Absolutely loved the spacious rooms with their unique decor, especially the wooden beams. One of the best parts of this hotel is its pool area and spa facilities, which are all included in the room price. Breakfast was included, with a wide range of foods available.

The location of the hotel was a little out of the way and required a bit of walking, but it was still close enough to the city center. the restaurant was lackluster and not very atmospheric.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel. the exclusive amenities were luxurious and fulfilled my every need. the Spa & wellness centre was a brilliant spot, with a range of services including a sauna, massage and steam room. the room had exclusive advantages and was beautifully designed, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. the restaurant served a variety of delicious meals, including special diet menus, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

The only issue I experienced was that the layout of the hotel meant that rooms were scattered about and accessible to passers-by. This created a lack of privacy and made it feel less like one establishment.
