We had a wonderful stay at this small guesthouse in the beautiful village of Cinque Terre. Giuliano, our host at Camere Giuliano Basso, was fantastic! He met us at the train station and helped us with our bags up the stairs to the property. the rooms were perfect, with unique touches and local craftsmanship. the property had terraces with breathtaking views of the ocean and Vernazza. Giuliano's wealth of knowledge about the area was invaluable, and his recommendations were spot on. the location was peaceful and close to the trekking path, which was ideal for us. a lovely experience.

The Room Escape Game: We had a hilarious experience trying to unlock our room with the electric kettle and balcony. It felt like participating in an exciting, real-life escape game!

Their location in Vernazza is perfect, close to the train station yet away from the tourist crowd. the room, Sofia 2, was charming and had a very comfortable bed. the highlight was the shower, and the multiple terraces with seating overlooking the town were a bonus. Giuliano's attention to detail and love for his place and community shines through in every aspect. We couldn't have asked for a better host. Mille grazie amigo!

Lovely location with a view of Vernazza and the water beyond. Close to the trekking path, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. Peaceful ambiance, surrounded by the sounds of nature. Patios for sun-soaking and enjoying the sights and sounds. Conveniently located, just 5 minutes from the beach. Amenities provided including water and tea. Variety of breakfast options nearby, such as the delicious cannoli at il pirata. Starting the trekking path southbound from here offers a peaceful and scenic experience.

The location, right by the train station, made it so convenient to explore the surrounding areas. Additionally, being nestled on the mountains offered breathtaking views of the city below. We got great value for our money with a clean and comfortable room. The location was ideal, close to the train station but still central. The staff, especially Giuliano, were incredibly caring and went above and beyond to help us.

The owner was not there to let us in at the specified arrival time, causing inconvenience. The room was extremely humid and the towels couldn't dry properly.

The location was perfect - situated above the vibrant village, yet conveniently close to the train station. The views from the spacious terrace were breathtaking, offering a picturesque scene of the valley, watchtower, and harbor. The room was spotlessly clean and the hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They even greeted us at the station and carried our luggage up the steep steps to the house. The cozy atmosphere and thoughtfully provided amenities made it a delightful experience. I would definitely stay here again.
