As foreign tourists, we loved the prompt attention and resolution of any issues, the choice of available rooms, and the help with moving our luggage. The location is perfect - within walking distance from the railway station and near the center and tourist attractions. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from on the same square.

The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout your stay. the hotel offers car parking and the option to rent bikes, allowing you to easily navigate the city.

There was some noise from nearby construction in the early morning, but this was not the hotel's fault and should not deter from an otherwise pleasant stay.

The breakfast at Carlton was absolutely delightful. I loved the convenience of the "multi-layer conveyor belt" toaster, even though I was the only one using it. The selection of items was great and the quality was top-notch. Additionally, the free tea/coffee-maker in my room was a nice touch. The hotel's central location made it easy to explore the city and the friendly atmosphere created a welcoming experience. Despite a few minor issues like the dark room and fiddly clothes hangers, my stay at Carlton was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel.
