I absolutely loved my stay at this fantastic hotel in the heart of Matera's historic center. The room was spacious, clean, and had a breathtaking view of the town. The staff, Mrs. Caterina and Mrs. Eleonora, were incredibly helpful and gave us great recommendations for exploring the area. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of fruits, cereals, yogurt, and a heavenly selection of croissants. Casa Diva offered great value for money, a perfect location, and a warm and friendly atmosphere.

This hotel is located in the historic area, right in the heart of the old city, making it a perfect base for exploring. The rooms are beautifully designed, with some built into caves, giving a unique and magical atmosphere. The staff is remarkable, providing excellent service and valuable recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. The breakfast served overlooking the stunning views of the Sassi is a definite highlight.

The underfloor AC system may struggle to cool the entire room, especially during very warm weather.

I recently stayed at Casa Diva for a few days and it was absolutely fantastic. The property itself is stunning, with beautifully decorated reception and dining rooms. Our cave suite, the uva suite, was beyond amazing, carved out of the rock and featuring high ceilings, tasteful decor. The terrace, shared with another suite, was a great addition. I highly recommend a stay at Casa Diva for a unique and unforgettable experience.
