We spent a magical Christmas at a small boutique hotel by the lake. the staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel at home. We loved the pool and gardens and spent most of our time on the beautiful terrace enjoying the sunset. the location was perfect, just a stone's throw from the ferry stop and with stunning views of the lake and mountains. the food was a definite highlight, with delicious local dishes and seasonal treats.

The rooms were slightly cramped with not much space for our luggage but the cozy atmosphere made up for it. the air conditioning didn't seem to work too well but we opened the windows and the fresh air was nice.

Despite the luxurious experience, this hotel can be hard to locate. It lacks enough information on guideposts, which can be frustrating for a first-time visitor.
