I recently stayed at Mandarin Oriental on Lake Como for a romantic getaway. The service was exceptional, with well-trained and attentive staff. The accommodations were separate from the main hotel and were delivered to by golf buggies. The property itself was fabulous, with immaculate gardens and a perfect spa. It's the ideal place to relax and unwind. The only thing to note is that it's about 5km from Lake Como town, but they offer a free shuttle bus. I highly recommend this hotel.
