Stayed in a real medieval castle with stunning views, surrounded by hanging gardens. Loved the lounges and exploring the castle. Conveniently located near Pisa Airport. Free Wi-Fi in public areas.

We got an incredible value for our money staying at the 12th century castle, with the experience of having the whole castle to ourselves. The location was perfect, overlooking the valley and the sea, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The only thing that could have improved the breakfast was more variety in the food options.

The common areas were beautifully decorated, with antique furniture and charming details that added to the overall enchantment. As a senior woman, I found the accessibility of the castle surprisingly good. Despite its historical nature, there were ramps and elevators available, making it easier for me to explore and navigate the different areas. I was truly impressed with the attention given to providing a comfortable experience for all guests.

If I had to ask for one thing to make my vacation even better as a senior, it would be the availability of more handrails in the common areas and staircases. While the castle's charm lies in its original features and historical authenticity, a few additional handrails would greatly assist seniors like myself in moving around the property with confidence and ease.
