The hotel was fantastic, with a lovely restaurant and excellent service. the dinner on the veranda was so romantic with candles and the waiter was very attentive. the breakfast was also very good. I loved the fact that the hotel had a pool, which was essential during the hot days in the city. the gardens and swimming pool were superb, and the garden bar was a great place to relax and enjoy a drink. the staff went out of their way to be helpful, offering advice on what to visit in the city and even helping to arrange trips if needed. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and having a car park was very convenient.

The hotel's location was a bit of a drawback as it was not within walking distance to the city. It was necessary to drive or take a taxi to get into Matera, which could be a hassle.

During our Easter break, we stayed at a hotel in the outskirts of the city. the rooms were quite clean, and the toiletries provided were of good quality. the hotel had ample parking space for visitors and even provided a garage service at an extra charge. the best aspect was that we enjoyed a beautiful view of the garden from our window.

The location of the hotel was quite far from the city center, and without a car, it was difficult to access the main town. There were not many options for food nearby, and the hotel restaurant had a limited range.
