Rooms were spacious and nicely designed with a charming antique theme. Host and staff were friendly and always available. There was secure parking available and a good spread of breakfast options.

There were a few small issues. the air-conditioner had a musky smell and the rooms facing the street could get noisy at times.

The staff at Cervetta 5 were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. When we arrived, there was a bit of a language barrier with the receptionist but she made an effort to assist us in checking in at the earliest time possible. The location of the hotel was superb, being within walking distance of the historical center and surrounded by fantastic restaurants. The breakfast that was included in our stay was excellent, with a wide selection of pastries to choose from. Our room at Cervetta 5 was clean and comfortable, providing us with a cozy space to relax after a long day of exploring. Despite the small size of the bathroom, it was bright and well-maintained. We also appreciated the decent Wi-Fi connection and the availability of an adapter for our work needs. Although the room was a bit lacking in terms of decor, it didn't detract from our overall enjoyment of our stay. The only minor drawback was the lack of natural light in the room during the day, but this was easily remedied by switching on the lights. I highly recommend Cervetta 5 for a pleasant and convenient stay in Modena.

The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The rooms in the new wing are modern and well-designed, with a fantastic bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. I particularly loved the balcony overlooking the small lane, where I could relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the neighborhood.

The only minor issue was the limited gluten-free options at breakfast.
