This was our third stay at Hotel Mara and we are never disappointed. The hotel has been updated since our last visit and looks great. The staff is friendly, especially our "personal" waiter at breakfast who goes out of his way to serve us. The beach is beautiful with soft sand and perfect water. Dinner by the pool at the hotel restaurant was marvellous, with attentive and thoughtful staff, plus delicious food.

The beach area was stunning with soft white sand, a pleasant surprise for a European beach. the spacious and clean rooms had a breathtaking view of the ocean, adding to the romantic ambiance. the friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

The only downside was the lack of a full-time bartender at the bar. We had to ask the front desk staff to track him down on several occasions, which was a bit inconvenient.

Recently renovated with great updates. Missed convenient lunch buffet. Friendly staff, especially attentive breakfast waiter. Clean room with nice balcony view. Beautiful beach and pools with plenty of loungers. Safe environment with fun activities for kids. Snack bar by pool was amazing. Excellent water pressure in shower.

We had a fantastic time at the hotel, located right on the beach. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast had a great variety of options, and the optional evening meals in the hotel restaurant were delicious. We were impressed with the cleanliness of both the rooms and the pool area.

One minor drawback was the limited surrounding restaurants and bars, but it was not a major issue for us as we were more interested in the hotel's offerings. Additionally, it would have been nice if the pool access was included in the room rate.

During my stay at a hotel on the Adriatic coast, I was amazed by the stunning beach with soft white sand - a rare find in Europe. The pools were spacious and well-maintained, providing a refreshing option for a dip. The friendly staff made my experience even better, and the clean and spacious rooms with an oceanfront view were simply breathtaking.

Spent New Year at a beachfront hotel in Ortona and it was a fantastic experience! the rooms were clean and had a great view of the beach. the staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. the hotel had two pools, including an Olympic size one, which was perfect for a refreshing swim. the location was also key, with easy access to the beach and all its amenities. Plus, there was a nearby restaurant that served delicious food. a great place to enjoy the New Year festivities!

Felt cozy, nothing to complain about.

We recently stayed at this luxurious hotel and were extremely satisfied with our experience. The hotel has been renovated and looks fantastic. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, especially our breakfast waiter who made us feel like VIPs. The beach access was convenient and the views were simply breathtaking. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves, knowing that our teenagers were safe and able to explore independently. This place truly caters to families and is perfect for a memorable beach vacation.

We had an amazing time at this beach hotel. The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach and not far from the city. The spacious rooms and high-quality bathroom supplies added to our comfort. The staff was incredibly helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We loved the delicious vegetable buffet dinner for only 5 Euros and the lovely beach area. The clean pools had plenty of loungers and umbrellas, and it was reassuring to know that our belongings were safe at the beach. The hotel provided awesome towels and beach towels, and we appreciated the great water pressure in the shower. The balcony with a sea view and shutters for blocking out heat and noise were a fantastic touch. The hotel also had a wide range of fun activities for kids and nightly entertainment. The friendly staff made us feel welcome throughout the stay.
