Great location, only a short walk from the train station and surrounded by charming restaurants and cafes. The staff were friendly and always available at reception. The rooms, though furnished with older furniture, were clean and towels were changed daily.

The lack of a small fridge in the room was inconvenient. The toilet had some issues and the wifi connection was unreliable.

I recently stayed at Hotel Monica for a few nights. The staff were friendly and helpful, with good English skills. They easily accommodated our request to extend our stay for an extra night at a reasonable price. The location was perfect, within walking distance to attractions and the train station. Although breakfast wasn't included, we had a spacious room with access to a huge patio and our own private bathroom.

I highly recommend this hotel.

loved our stay at florence! hotel monica was a pleasant surprise. the owners were kind and even gave our dog water. the room was small but cozy, and the AC worked well. breakfast on the terrace was a nice touch. overall, a great choice for a one night stay!

Entrance smelled bad.

The location was perfect, as it was very close to the train station and in the center of the city. The staff, specifically Laura and Domenico, were incredibly nice and helpful. Even though my triple room didn't have a window, it had a door that led to a beautiful terrace where I could relax and enjoy breakfast. The room itself was spacious and the staff made my stay truly enjoyable.

I got great value for my money at Hotel Monica. The room was basic but comfortable, perfect for someone like me who doesn't spend much time in the room. The location was excellent, close to everything and felt safe at night. The staff at reception were lovely and really helpful with insider tips on where to go.

The staff, especially Leonardo, was friendly and always ready to help, even with a crutch due to his recent bike accident. we had a great experience at Hotel Monica and would highly recommend it.

monica was even better than our previous stay in florence. the location was superb, just a 5-minute stroll to the main attractions. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our entire stay.

air conditioning didn't work properly

I had a perfect stay at this small hotel. It was conveniently located close to the train station and within walking distance to the city center. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. They promptly replaced a blow dryer that wasn't working. The breakfast was satisfactory, with a decent selection of food including cold cuts, cheese slices, cereals, yogurt, and toast. I appreciated that they allowed me to leave my luggage after checkout and pick it up later in the evening.
