The value for my money at Hotel Montecodeno was excellent, with a clean room and great location near the train station and ferry. The staff treated me very well and were always friendly and helpful.

Breakfast offerings could be improved by adding some fresh salad options.

The location of this hotel was amazing - just a short walk from many restaurants and Villa Monastero which offered breathtaking views of the area. The prices were reasonable and the attention to detail was excellent. The staff were attentive and the basic amenities provided were sufficient. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very quiet, ensuring a peaceful stay. The breakfast offered a great variety of choices, including fresh bread, ham, cheese, eggs, and pastries.

We loved the friendly and prompt service at the hotel. The location was excellent, close to the railway station, ferries, and town. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the mountains from our window at the front of the hotel. The breakfast and dinner included in our stay were both delicious. The roomy bathroom and the air conditioning were a plus, especially during the heat wave. It was also convenient that the hotel was on the path up to Castello Vezio. we had a great time exploring the lovely town of Varenna and visiting the fabulous gardens in the central lake area of Lake Como.

We felt well taken care off during our stay, nothing was too much trouble.

There were two complementary facts offered during our stay which was a pleasant surprise. the hotel was located very close to the boat station making it easy to explore the town. the breakfast was good with a variety of options.

The bathroom had no windows making it difficult for towels to dry. the shower only had a curtain which could be replaced with doors for more privacy.
