We had a fantastic stay at a lovely hotel in Sulmona. the Hotel Ovidius provided excellent accommodations with clean, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We also enjoyed the convenience of the hotel's location, which allowed us to easily explore the charming old town and enjoy delicious meals at the nearby restaurants. the hotel served as a great base for our mountain adventures on the Trans Siberian Railway of Italy, offering breathtaking views from the highest railway station in Italy at over 4,000ft. We can't wait to return to Sulmona and experience the hospitality of the Hotel Ovidius once again.

The staff was very friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. the restaurant had delicious food and we enjoyed dining there. the room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. We also appreciated the easy access to the parking area and the convenient location, with a pleasant stroll through a park leading to the town center.

The mattresses on the beds were a little hard, which made it slightly uncomfortable to sleep. Additionally, there was annoying background music playing in the public areas and restaurant, with broken speakers that gave it a screeching sound.
