During my business trip, I found the views from the hotel to be truly breathtaking, especially when relaxing on the terrace by the lake. The efficient private water taxi service made visiting nearby attractions very easy and convenient. I appreciated the extensive breakfast buffet, which included a delightful selection of pastries and fresh honeycomb. Overall, the atmosphere was lovely, making it a nice spot to unwind after a busy day.

My stay at Hotel Splendid was delightful. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, featuring comfortable beds and a wonderful bathroom. I particularly enjoyed the large buffet breakfast, which included a variety of tasty options and fresh pastries. The hotel grounds were well-maintained, and the view of Lake Maggiore was simply stunning. The staff were attentive, making me feel welcomed throughout my entire stay.

How about fixing the air conditioning—it seems to be a common issue!!! Facilities need more attention, the gym is lacking equipment and the pool is frigid!!! Guests shouldn’t feel nickel-and-dimed with undisclosed fees!!!

Ope, the suite we booked had the most spectacular view of the lake! The old-world charm is real, and lemme tell ya, breakfast with fresh honeycomb is a treat! Just a heads up that the bar could use a few more hands on deck. Can't forget the reserved beach chairs—best for lounging, don’tcha know!

the setting is pretty but the pool is freezing and the gym, what a travesty! an empty mini bar and a rude staff woudlve made me think twice. i almost considered a good review, but how can one forget the missing kettle? very disappointing for such a supposed luxury!

The suite was divine, with stunning views over the lake! Facilities felt posh, and the private boat trip to Isola Superiore was just the cherry on top. Beaches were clean with plenty of loungers—important for lounging, darling!

However, the bar staff could use a little less running like headless chickens! Also, the room could have been a tad closer to 'luxury' instead of 'cozy shoebox'.

Lekker stay with those stunning views! My brekkie was on point, especially that fresh honeycomb—never seen that before. Chilled at the bar one night, staff were super friendly checking in on us. Big shoutout to the cooking, that steak was just perfection, boet!

Only annoying thing was that the fire doors were left open, like, no one wants that kind of stress.

the bathroom incident was a bit awkward. but the view was spectacular from the balconies. the water taxi saved us so much hassle. plus the staff was really friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.
