I recently stayed at a hotel in Florence, which is located just a stone's throw away from the famous Duomo complex. Villani, the hotel I stayed at, offered stunning views of the cathedral from its top floor. It was definitely worth the extra cost to have a room with such an incredible view. The location was perfect for exploring Renaissance Florence, as everything was within a 10-minute walk. Additionally, the breakfast provided by the hotel was a delightful treat, with a variety of options to choose from.

We had a wonderful experience at a hotel right in the Center about 50 meters from the cathedral. The staff were very friendly and helpful, walking us to our room and providing informative details.
