The hotel had a great location, with easy walking access to all the major sights and restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, always going the extra mile to assist us. We were pleasantly surprised by the stylish decor in our room, even though it didn't have a traditional window. The three restaurants on-site offered a variety of delicious options, including amazing pizzas with soft pillowy edges. The hotel also had a good selection of wine to choose from.

What a fantastic find! I stayed at I Portici Hotel for one night and it exceeded all my expectations. The rooms were simply stunning, with their high ceilings and beautiful decor. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of delicious food and even a custom-made omelette station. I also loved the complimentary drinks at the bar and the exquisite pizzas from the restaurant. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the old town and surrounded by great restaurants. a great value for such a grand hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Bologna. Best aspects were its close proximity to the train station and the historical center, making it easy to explore the city's sights. In addition, the hotel provided a delicious breakfast and the staff was extremely helpful. The rooms were clean and well-decorated, and there were also great facilities such as a park next door where we enjoyed an all-day concert. Could not be improved in any way.

We loved this place! The location was perfect and we could reach all the main attractions on foot. The room was well equipped with nice amenities, including an electric kettle and a mini-bar. The staff were very helpful and even prepared our egg dishes on request. The terrace was a great spot for a drink and the garden area was also lovely. The welcome drink was a nice touch, and the in-room breakfast was great. We also appreciated the free toiletries and the flat-screen TV.

With the downright disinterested-bordering rude-receptionist, the service was not top-notch. However, despite this, we would still highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay in the area.

I recently stayed at I Portici Hotel and it was a great experience. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and close to Piazza Maggiore. The hotel itself is housed in a charming old building with beautiful decorative ceilings. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the Wi-Fi was fast. The room was spacious and clean, and I appreciated the option to have an Italian breakfast. The highlight was dining on the terrace, especially with the new pizza oven.

We had a room with a lovely view overlooking the gardens next to the hotel. The location is perfect, close to the station and right in the center of the city. The restaurant at the hotel offers marvellous food and the staff provides a brief commentary for each dish. It was a fine dining experience that was well worth the cost. The hotel has a modern and minimalist style, which may not be everyone's taste, but it was comfortable and provided a good base to explore the beautiful city of Bologna.

Had a nice thanksgiving stay in Bologna. the hotel offered complementary newspapers and tea/coffee in the room which was a nice touch. the location was great, close to the train station and within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. the breakfast was extensive with a range of options.

The room was small and the AC was not working properly, making it quite stuffy. the staff were not particularly welcoming or helpful and did not provide any recommendations for things to do in the area.
