The location was perfect, within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain and great restaurants on Via Flavia. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure I had all the information I needed to explore the city. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating my group of four. The breakfast option was convenient and the overall atmosphere of the guesthouse was super cool. Despite a few minor drawbacks like the weird smell in the room and the AC not cooling properly, I would definitely recommend this guesthouse for its great location, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms.

I recently stayed at La Controra Guesthouse and had a wonderful time. My family and I stayed for a week and the room for 4 people was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect, within walking distance to Piazza Barberini, Vía Veneto, and Borghese Gardens. The staff was incredibly helpful and gave great recommendations for restaurants and attractions. We loved having a well-equipped kitchen for breakfasts and coffee breaks. The hotel even had Netflix which was a great perk during our midday siestas. a cozy and clean hotel with friendly staff in a fantastic location. Highly recommend!

The staff warmly greeted and helped us at check-in. The room and bathroom were clean. Air-conditioning and comfortable beds provided a pleasant stay. Good location for central Rome and easy access to buses. Enjoyed our stay in a quiet and safe neighborhood.

We had a fantastic stay at La Controra Guesthouse. Marco was attentive and responsive, providing us with excellent suggestions and advice on exploring Rome. the property is located in an exceptionally safe neighborhood, across from the U.S. Embassy, banks, and a government agency. the street had all the security we could ask for. the location was also excellent, just a few blocks away from the Spanish Steps and Barberini metro. the rooms were spacious enough for our family of four and everything was clean and well-maintained. We highly recommend this guesthouse.

The location was excellent, with easy access to public transportation and popular attractions. the room was small but very comfortable, with modern furnishings and a comfortable bed. the staff were friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated the three keys that gave me easy and secure access to the building, floor, and room. the guesthouse was also very clean and well-maintained. it was a great experience and I look forward to coming back!
